Social Distancing and Your Individual Personality Blueprinting
Surviving and thriving during month two of social distancing; when you are feeling like you just had enough!
This has been an unprecedented and challenging time for all of us. There are many different ways in which we may be challenged during this COVID-19 pandemic.
In my coaching practice I have the opportunity to work with many different people and different individual personality blueprints. Clients have shared with me the struggles that they have bumped up against with their loved ones during this “stay at home” period.
It is useful to be aware that whatever irritation comes up with another during this time can get magnified because we don’t have the normal distractions to buffer the things that trigger us.
Clients have found it fascinating and useful in understanding the way that they are wired and with those whom they interact with on daily basis; especially during this time of social distancing and being home bound.
I don’t believe in using systems to put people in boxes. Understanding one’s self and others is instrumental in weathering this COVID-19 storm.
I want to emphasize that in working with many personality typing systems, I have found that we are never 100% of any type, but rather have default unconscious drivers of how we navigate through our daily life.
Here are some of the systems I use in accessing your
individual personality blueprinting. (You need not concern yourself with learning all of these systems as I customize it for you).
- MBTI: Myers Briggs Type Indicator-Introvert or Extrovert, Intuitive or Sensing, Thinking or Feeling, Perceiving or Judging
- Enneagram Personality Trifecta-3 Main Enneagram Drivers
- Enneagram Instinctual Survival Stacking– the unconscious ways that make you feel safe and how you would like to get your needs to be met
- Core energetics based on William Reich’s character structures– another part of your gifts and defense strategies.(The character structures listed below are not being used in this manner as a clinical diagnosis).
Oral
Schizoid
Rigid
Psychopathic
Masochistic
- MBTI score: 84% extrovert and 16% introvert. and the 3 other categories were 51% and 49%. ENFP is another way to state this score
- Enneagram Personality Trifecta: Type 7,2,8 (the enthusiast, the helper, the challenger) respectively
- Enneagram Instinctual Survival Stacking is:
1st is Sexual: focuses on 1:1 relationships, self revealing, and intimacy
2nd is Self-preservation: focuses on survival needs, safety, food, money, resources, health and conserving energy
3rd is Social/Tribal: focuses on groups, causes and the collective
- Core energetic character structure is:
Primary type: Oral craves more external connection
Secondary type: Schizoid avoids too much external connection
